I bought a new refrigerator in May of this year at Home Depot in Crystal River. I used it for a week and then unplugged it for 6 months while I went north for the summer. Upon arriving back home in October I plugged it back in and cannot get the temperature down to the ideal temperature of 38. In May of 2019 I purchased a side br side GE refrigerator . After 10 months the ice maker stopped making ice. Called repairman from GE . He installed a new ice maker. nine months later that ice maker stopped making ice . To day the refrigerator got it 3 air maker . The refrigerator will not be 2 years old until this may . Trying to get a microwave under the two year warranty to get fixed. I have been contacting them past three weeks with no success. The technician came twice but was of no use. He literally spend less then three minutes to attend to an appointment for which we waited more then a week. It’s hopeless service.
Have not been getting good service on my GE washer purchased in March 2020 from Bill Smith. In December 2020, my first service technician recommended replacement of Motor. I was told that there would be a delay in shipment due to delivery delays over the holidays. However, when second technician showed up on 2/8/2021, he did not bring motor but corrected the water supply. Within two wash loads, problem in drainage occurred. I do not want to pay for something that should be a customer service issue. I will twice before buying my appliances in the future.
We bought a GE microwave model PVM9179SF2SS. Serial GG201067K. This was made to go over our GE gas stove. We have replaced the handle 3 times, and the circuit board once and it just went out again. We now have to remove it and install something else. I am letting you know this as we are quite disappointed in this product. We are also open to any ideas but this product is quite problematic.

GE customer service is a joke. Reps are liars, promotions are a joke, delivery and installation non-existent. Don’t bother contacting them, they will just blow you off.
Waited for 3weeks for service to call me. They have no record of my appt now. Save your $ on extended warranty!
Simple fix turned into a nightmare, repair person comes to balance out drum, then the washing machine would not work. Now they can’t move us up on the repair schedule. Parts are in, but have to wait until the 24th of august to schedule. So he comes to fix the drum he leaves and it is broke. Washer is less than a year old. Try to speak to a supervisor, on hold for about 45 minutes, not a response from him. He must have been afraid for a confrontation. We will not renew our warranty. GE sucks
Same question as Jacquie. New GE gas range and oven in June and now the oven does not work. Home Depot sent a repairman to a wrong address but gave me a number to call and I have been on hold for 65 minutes.
Hold for hours on the phone for consumer relations and then get disconnected everytime. This is the most frustrating appliance purchase I’ve ever made – GE Profile Stainless refrigerator with defective stainless steel, loud compressor and now the water quit working after 4 months.

Based on past ( negative) experience with ge appliances I was reluctant to purchase a gd laundry psir. The salesman assured me they’ve come a long way. Clearly, nothing) other than the price has changed. Clearly, I was misled!
I bought a large top load GE washer in 2020. It cannot handle a large or even a 1/2 load. It can’t spin it and just keeps putting more water in to, I guess, balance it. As much as I reposition the load, it just cant handle it and complete the final spin. So frustrating. The dealer we bought it from could not offer any help. What is the purpose of a large load washer if it cannot handle it? I won’t purchase GE again and will tell others about my experience.

I bought a ge washer inJuly 19,2021. Well went to use it yesterday 7/20/21 and guess what it wont work!!!!!! Shame I paid 636.00 for one years use.

I bought a GE refrigerator on May 26, 2022 it did just fine until May 22, 2023. I have been living out of two ice chest since this time. A&E Factory Service came out in June. Checked it said he needed parts to fix it. There was multiple packages come to my address. I tried daily to call and email A&E. Factory Service, with no answer of any kind. What a mess. First, my washer/dryer combination arrived with a broken computer screen. The service man came and was very good but he didn’t have the correct part because it needed to be ordered and shipped to me which the customer service people didn’t do. He took care of it and the package came. Then the next guy comes. I think he was afraid of the dogs which were gated off.
