Setting up bill pay payments through my bank. Will have to make installments because of the cost of the refrigerator I had to purchase because American Home Shield failed to follow through with on they’re end of the policy. I was so frustrated that I was ready to cancel my policy. After insisting over and over that the gentleman who kept repeating his printed lines connect me with a supervisor in the U.S. I finally got the customer service I needed so did not cancel. This was my first claim with AHS. Had I not been able to communicate my frustrations to her and have her UNDERSTAND, I would have canceled…no doubt. I made my request in December 2020 for someone to come look at my dishwasher. The contractor assigned to the job did not show up. I took off work that same day which cost me money. A new appointment rescheduled for a Saturday. The contractor did not show up. American Home Shield makes it impossible to talk with the supervisor. I would like to speak to someone in the United States not The Philippines. this upcoming Saturday a contractor is supposed to come out again. We shall see. I just finished my long letter to American Home shield. The company took my service fee but the contractor never showed up. I made the service request in December 2020. I’m canceling my contract and demanding my Service fee be returned. They treat their customer like s***. And yes they take Americans money and hire people other countries for their call center because it’s cheap labor. Don’t do business with them. It’s a rip off!
I have been with American Home Shield for a very long time, and up till now have never had an issue…Since March 9th I have had an on going problem with my air conditioner. The latest issue is that a coil needs to be replaced…was told by the contractor that AHS sent to my home that they were coming on March 31st with the coil. I had a vendor from Sharper Solutions Appliance Repair assault me. Long story short he didn’t fix the dryer. What he did do was look at pornography on his phone, then pin me to my refrigerator. There’s more to story but limited on how much one can write here. Called AHS gave they gave me corporate email but after spending an hour composing the details, the email got bounced back! They need to know what happened. There is a police report. Can anyone help? I need their corporate email address, & not [email protected] -that does not work. Thanks
Please see my complaint. Its bad, its very bad. The Post office has been elevated and customer service only gets 1% and thats because they picked up the phone. No help yet… What do we do and who can we talk to?
Its not just the Philippines although they are the worst. The employees in the US won’t give a good answer and English is a second bad language or they don’t want to understand the your issues and make it impossible to get answers even after the contractor has come and made a decision. My contractor told my wife and I one thing and then called the company and said the exact opposite. Where do they find so much bad help?

I want status of this refund; as I am unable to understand any AHS Asia Customer Service Reps. The AHS Asia Customer Service Reps was unable to help me not seeing anything about this refund. I need to talk to someone at AHS U.S. (not Asia).
I have been waiting for a call from a supervisor. It has been over a month and no one has called. You sent me a letter stating that if I did not think my claim was resolved with the terms of my contract to contact AHS. I have called several times and talked with people all over the world, except someone in the United States. Each person tells me someone will call within 48 hours. Just got off the phone with AHS customer service rep for a follow up on a dishwasher maintenance issue. The problem wasn’t completely solved and the rep explained that the diagnosis revealed reasons beyond the terms of the contract. I requested for a copy of the diagnosis and they could only send it via snail mail (surprise, surprise) even though we live in a digital world today. Had one good experience that I was so pleased with. But, today I am ready to pull my hair out! After being on the phone for over four hours with multiple people that do not speak in English and say there is no supervisor or someone in the United States that I can talk to. Teri Davidson Meunier Update: DAY 37….NOTHING YET I reported a malfunctioning refrigerator using online service on May 19, 2021. Service disp open on May 20, 2021. Today is June 23, 2021 and the refrigerator still has not been repaired. Keep doing “recall” and “escalation” and sending to authorization dept., yet no results. It should be noted that the vendor assigned informed AHS that the part needed could not be located. A month has gone by and now I’m told there will be another recall! What? Why? AHS is a JOKE! I have been paying my bill every month for 7 years. I have hardly used them and now that I need their help they won’t help me. My pool pump went out a week ago and the cannot yet assign a contractor. I called and the agents can barely speak english and are hard to understand. I asked for a number to call here in the U S and to speak to a supervisor and would not help me. Bad business. Do not get AHS. Very dissatisfied with their business!
When I first started with AHS I had great service and no problems. When you went overseas with your customer service the whole company went down hill. It takes 3 to 4 phone calls to get anything done, can’t understand what the people are saying and since they don’t know enough English to have a conversation all they can do is read from a script. DO NOT USE American Home Shield. They use the term “not normal wear and tear” to keep from paying out on anything. The pipe was in the wall for 30+ years resting near a stud. It finally weakened or rubbed on the pipe over time. Could have happened with any kind of pipe. I’m Not sure how normal wear and tear of a pipe would look any different from what I have. Went round and round with them and got nowhere.
